Here’s my first astrophotography picture. I thought the little dots were a focus problem until I realized what I was looking at: Jupiter and its moons!!

Hello World

Well, for some inexplicable reason, I have decided to become an astrophotographer.

I live in Seattle. The latitude here is very high, the altitude is very low, and the light pollution is very bad. There are many (so many) trees and mountains. Also tall buildings.

I can’t think of anything else Seattle skies are famous for at the moment. Perhaps it will come up!
